Turner Syndrome
Turner Syndrome is a chromosomal condition that affects development in females (“Turner Syndrome - Genetics Home Reference.”). The Genetic Disorder is a rare genetic condition where a female doesn’t have 2 X chromosomes. Females usually have 2 of the same sex chromosomes, written as XX. Some symptoms are having short height, failure to develop properly, born with heart defects, low hairline at the back of the neck, puffiness, swelling, middle ear infections. Girls with Turner Syndrome are good at reading skills and verbal skills. However, some girls have problems with math skills & memory skills.
